New Paranormal TV Show Getting Ready for Market
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) January 28, 2009 -- Ken Liljegren and Gregg Housey, of Phoenix-based Spectrum Video & Film, are meeting with programming executives from around the world interested in airing the paranormal content show.
The 30-minute show format is news entertainment and includes segments on UFOs, the supernatural, psychic and spiritual phenomena, urban legends and folklore and oddities and unexplainable occurrences.
The show, which was shot in HD, is hosted by Katie Cook, host of "CMT Insiders." The pilot was shot in the Metro Phoenix area, Virginia and Las Vegas. Segments include "black ops" aircraft, a pet psychic and an interview with a remote viewer.
"The pilot takes full advantage of our relationships with paranormal researchers and enthusiasts to help tell their stories, share their experiences and promote their research efforts," said Liljegren, owner of Spectrum Video. "Experts and novices alike will enjoy watching the stories that support their own findings and conclusions.
"With three out of four Americans professing at least one paranormal belief, the paranormal genre has universal appeal," he said.
According to host Cook, the show has a good mix of stories. "I am sure anyone who sees it will be impressed with the quality," she said.
About 25 people got a sneak peak at the pilot at a preview party in Phoenix Jan. 22, including Dr. Lynne Kitei producer of the award-winning "Phoenix Lights" documentary.
The pilot can be viewed in full at paranormalmatrix.tv.
